At certian angles Matt looks kinda like tom cruise. Except way cooler...and strait.

tom cruise? Matt Bennett looks alot like Graham Nash in the Woodstock film. I just noticed it watching it a couple days ago.

Matt looks weird in this photo. But it's ok. Anyone watch Heavy Flow Day? The first guy is just like Austin.

What crap were you riding before Toy Machine?

How often do you guys buy a board?

How many times per month, or year?

man matt good thing you got your head on straight and got a toy machine!

ed if thats a real question, i buy 2 decks a month on average sometimes one and somethimes 3. it depends on what i am skating and how much i skate.

I buy a deck every paychech, so once every two weeks somtimes more, but since theres a foot of snow on the ground I havent needed a new deck in a while, but I still bought two 8.25 Zeros on boxing day. Sorry Ed they only had skinny Toy decks at the time, I need to talk the guys at my local shop to get more toy decks.

It's a real question, I am wondering what the average is.
I was so poor as a kid, that I only got 2 a year, one for Christmas and one for the birthday. All in between was hand-me-downs from my friends...

I usually skate a deck a month. I'm going crazy right now because there's snow here and I can't skate!!! I will purchase a new Toy board at my shop as soon as they get one, promise Ed.

My Answer to Eds Question:

Before i rode a Toy Machine. My first deck is this old school Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles deck. Then i got a World Industries complete deck that i got soaked. Then i got a Toy Machine Deck

How often do i buy a board?
Whenever it snaps(or gets fucked up).But i havnt snapped the Toy Machine deck yet.I got it for my birthday then it started to rain.So i didnt ride it.So its still in pretty good shape.Im gonna try and snap it this summer.and i'll buy another Toy Deck hopefully.

How many times per month or year?
I havnt snapped one yet unfortunately. And i'd probably get a new deck after 3 months if i were to snap it.Or if i beg people for them to loan me some dough.

Im a full time roofer and dont have any bills to pay, so I buy way more decks then I can acually skate, most of my friends don't even buy boards anymore, they just ride my old ones.

Ed, My first real deck was a toy machine 10 years ago. I switched around brands for years. I guess most kids do, getting into different phases n stuff. Looking up to certain skaters. About a year ago I bought a tm and iv stuck with them ever since. The 8.4's are my favs. a few months ago i purchased Collin's first pro board at a local shop. I really love that shape. I was in the shop about a week after and they had that deck so i had to buy it. the only difference is the top ply is red. i normally dont like the colorful tops, that stuff distracts me. but i loved this board and its hard to find an 8.4 toy machine around here. when i set it up i realized the bottom two plys were seperated. I guess its just a factory error. But it bummed me out cuz i was so psyched to skate a fresh one. I tried skating it but the pop was all weird and it felt like it would snap if i tried anythin. It's cool that i have CP's first board fresh though im gnna save it forever i love that graphic. I'd normally never write on a blog or anythin like this but your my favorite skater and i've supported toy machine for a while. Your first real board is something youll always remember. It was the raddest shit ever when i was ten. Just a basic tm monster logo. I got some good memories with that thing. Anyways, I've been contemplating on calling the company or something for weeks but im a humble guy. I can't complain. IF you read this though that would be cool. And i'll still keep buying toy machines no matter what. PEACE
