Shane is stoked on his tattoo though. Looks good.
Thanks for your support guys.
So we got the call that a yearly parade in Pine Valley, CA(45 min east of San Diego) wanted the Worlds Biggest Skateboard in it this year. Thats all it took. We were down. By the way it wasn't a rodeo. They cancelled the rodeo this year. But I still think it sounds cooler than parade.
This was a bit and by a bit I mean a lot out of the ordinary for us. But would be good to check out atleast and show our support to the town. By 6:30 am I was at Tum Yeto with a fellow employee loading up the Worlds Biggest Skateboard and everything else we needed for the event. We didn't really know what to expect. By the time we got there and got organized we were pretty excited to be apart of something this huge in the community. Of course I took photos of the experience. Immediately we started up the town nicknames and sayings. There was: Sheriff Ramsy, "what happens in Pine Valley stays in Pine Valley...just kidding nothing happens in Pine Valley", Tractor Tom, "50 dollars for a piece of fire wood" etc etc etc. Even though I do make fun of the situation we really did enjoy ourselves and look forward to next year. Thanks to the Pine Valley community for inviting a couple spoiled city boys to you're parade.
Here was the scene. We were group 2 number 22 in line. whatever that meant. so we sat and waited in line until the parade started.
Knights in shining armor...
I heard that this was the towns comedian. It got weird fast.
The Hells Angels were present.
I swear the people in the actual parade were 10 times more than the people watching. Is that how its always supposed to be at parades? Im new to this...
Heres who we followed. Tractor Tom.
So the parade starts and we scramble to gather stuff to throw at people. This is when it got really fun. We managed to bring a box of tech decks, a box of Skateboarders with Angel on the cover of course, t shirts, and some Tum Yeto catalogs.
We picked up a couple kids to ride on the board in the parade.
our fans...duh
excited fan
we got this medal for being in the parade...
not in San Diego...
we followed Tractor Tom and Towing Tim out of the parade
no comment.
yeah as you can see we fit in nicely around here
maybe Louie's knife board is around here because this is starting to look more and more like a Rambo movie.
no joke this was sitting in somebody's yard. We had to have it.
So we traded for it of course. This is going to be a excellent board for the warehouse.
The gas station sold look alike tech decks. Not gonna cut it.
We didn't realize there was going to be such a strict policy of no water balloons at the park.
oh well
Our booth set up was prime. But I don't think anybody cared. Maybe 20 people through out the day came up to us to see what we had going on. The bigger hit was the high school dunk tank filled with boys located behind us in the park.
The park rangers were stoked though. Here they are getting there new online dating photos...whoa that was harsh. Sorry. Actually they were really nice and had wives.
Did I mention that we were located right next to a petting zoo in the park. Now thats random! But awesome.
This little girl was sitting with the chickens in the petting zoo.
This is the other side of the park.
Back to San Diego!
Like some reverse Terminator type shit, Young JLay bursts into the future trumpeting a back lip down some sketchy rail, reminding Johnny to stay on his game.

Looks like Foundation will be starting in New York City! I will announce the team here in a couple days. Stay tuned for more info leading up to the trip on the 24th of August.
And among the things inside was good ol' Garbage Candy. I ate it because Austin doesn't like that kind of candy.
The hotel gift shop was offering Sex Changes. Finally an over-the-counter version!
Matt has finally made the leap into the land of adulthoood and currently hangs his hat in Long Beach. He's already a Cherry Park local. Life is sweet.
See Ed talk about impossibles on the Burnout blog at Thrasher...

Usually resigned to stick to the shadows, Nick has been taking advantage of his blossoming superstar status lately. Enjoy the fruits of your labor sir. - And see Ed talk about impossibles on the Burnout blog at Thrasher...
In keeping with the recent ice cream theme Johnny munched on some sweet pink magic while Grant got his on some hubba. Joe was there with his new belly cam while Grif ached for help and I leapt past the escalating complaints of how bad I am at my job.

Sierra took 2nd place in the Amsterdamn Am Best trick contest over the weekend. Also placing 10th in the regular contest. Check the footage for his huge kickflip to lipslide.
Heres a look through the Tum Yeto compound. I will post part 2 up later this week.
Heres the corner of the showroom.
The area of the showroom that a million handshakes have gone down at.
This is the best quarter pipe ever. Its like skating flat ground with coping. Its that mellow.
Heres your board options when entering the warehouse.
or you can use the electrical skateboard. Its extra sketchy when someone else controls it while your riding.
We have a lot of shoes...
T shirts? check.
Pig SPD wheels are in stock. Half one color half another color.
Heres a area of the Toy Machine boards.
This is where all the sponsor me videos get watched. So you better bring your A game because its on a Big Screen.
It used to be pool mania in here for a sec. Then the pool sticks tips broke and we were over it. So now it collects dust and probably is a breeding grown for black widows.
The Worlds Biggest Skateboard is stored in one of the garages.
uh.
Random office where people probably get fired.
You just can't elude the Tempster. Just when you think you have him fooled, he slithers up and catches you doing something shady like stealing company money. As gesture of good will I have donated all of my huge salary for this month to the Steve Irwin's family. I give Ed tummy aches.

Is talked about every day on this trip. In between snacks, I reckon Jimmy talks about Cobra at least 20 minutes per day.
Finally, we can watch it whenever we want!
Josh almost missed the Cobra boat. But Hitler was on the boat too...
Posted July 22nd, 2007 by That is alot of money for 2 hours a day...
After seeing Kids in the Hall perform live, Josh treated himself to some treats.
Since Kevin decides to do the site whenever he sees fit, regardless of what he is paid...

Billy has taken to some sort of magician act to mystify you into voting for him. He'll make a beer can disappear, walk on air and turn invisible. Just vote for him already.
Ethan is featured in this months Paper magazine. In a article about groups of people doing a random sport or something. Looks like Ethan has taken a liking to Golf. Signature Ethan Fowler Foundation golf club coming soon...
One of these women on super tall stilts...
Took a slam. How the hell do you take a slam on 8-foot tall stilts??? People came to help her.
In other news: Based on the popularity of the movie 'Passion of the Christ' which made 600 million dollars. And the fact that between 5000 and 6000 Christian books will be published this year alone. You will be pleased to know this Christmas, you can buy your children a Jesus Christ doll to play with from Wal-Mart.

It's been a few years since there's been a best trick contest at X, but this year it's back. And this time, you get to decide who makes the cut and who takes home 10 Gs for the win. The winner from the street contest gets an automatic in.
Vote for Corey.
For some reason kids love having themselves signed. I've heard too much of this practice can lead to acid trips. PS: Vote for Billy Marks at EXPN.com!!!!! Show the love.
RYAN from the COMMENTS:the demo/party at antisocial was the most epic thing ever. never again will something happen in my life that is that good. I'm not too sure if you actually read these ed but, i was that most likely annoying drunk dude that got you to draw a sect on my arm so i could go get it tattooed shortly after. anyways, the dude turned me down cause i was drunk and it's kinda faded off now. Thanks for the rad demo and just broing down, Ryan.

The one in back of Anti-Social in Vancouver. Josh, Austin and Ed are on the RVCA tour. During the art show an epic mini-ramp jam was going down, and Keegan Sauder skated the whole time in heat like a 450 degree oven. We was sooooo wet.

Do NOT try this at home because you could end up permanetly SCARRED.
So the idea behind Scarred Live was to bring the kids that had previously been on the show for slamming and have them retry the trick on live television. The reason Tum Yeto was involved? They wanted the Foundation Worlds Biggest Skateboard in a couple shots involving Wee Man. Fine we're there. Simple enough right? Wrong.
You are taking kids that obviously arn't good in the first place(well besides Kenny Houghes). They did get on the show because they DIDN'T land the trick. I mean some of these slams involve people sacking on rails that are impossible to sack on. Oh well. So what you see on tv is kids struggling to land the trick that haunted them up until this point. They each had about 2 trys on LIVE tv to nail the trick. Most didn't succeed which made for some really unentertaining action. Oh well Thanks MTV for letting us be apart of it.
Wee Man rode Foundations World Biggest Skateboard. I was too bored to sit through the whole event while it was happening so I went home and snapped a photo of Wee Man on it from the tv for proof.
Bucky Lasek was there. enough said.
I snapped a couple setting up photos at the MTV Scarred Live event that is taking place tomorrow at 11am western time. Sorry for the lack of quality. I'm not sure if I was supposed to be taking photos so it was all sneak attack. Notice all the shark stuff? Well there is 4 sharks in the tank that some motorcyclist is jumping over. See you there or not.
Bilbo must seek the sage wisdom of the Tempster for these next months of non-stop touring and contest domination. It's a nest of vipers out there so Ed instructed him to repeat this mantra.
So lately we've been hit up a ton about the Worlds Biggest Skateboard of ours. Its either some people trying to break the record or a news station trying to get a interview about our current world record holder. But not to worry with this 2008 skateboard mock up completed. Its easy to show the world that we are the Worlds Biggest Skateboard owners and we are here to stay. The new beast of a skateboard is estimated at 10 feet wide 40 feet long. Weighing in at 5,000 lbs.

We have Foundation props at the end of the interview. Hoo raw. Check it out here
The drives can be killer. (photos from TM's recent US tour...)

Since Gareth was recently hit by a car I figured I would mock up this reinactment to show you all how it happend. For what I have to show you is not for younger audiences and is highly graphic. You might need to look away.
The Scene
The Worlds Biggest Skateboard is being challenged. The "Largest Skateboard in the Universe", which is reportedly slightly over twice the size of the "World's Biggest Skateboard", has been suggested that the makers of the board are interested in applying for the new Guinness World Record. The board is being assembled in Saugerties, a small town 100 miles upstate of New York City.
I dont think they realize that this is the guy that owns the Worlds Biggest Skateboard. Not a man to have on your bad side.
Like, "why can't I be as rad as Ed Templeton?" meanwhile the Tempster was up in Milpitas, AKA San Jose skating in an Emerica Demo at a Zumies Skateshop. The kids seemed happy to be in a mall parking lot all day listening to sub-standard AKA Lame music all day. But Reynolds did frontside flip the shit out of everything, so you can't say it was a bad day.
And he brought his posse with him. The Grimes' is still rocking his beard. And Johnny John looked perplexed. Matt is doing fine, and started skating against his doctors' wishes. He is gonna try to get some photos of the pins being pulled out for us. Rock the medallion!
