Austin enjoys scouring the countryside for good times and hot skates. He's gone from one tour to the next and gets back tonight from the Wild Ride. Trooper through and through...

(San Diego, CA) - Dekline Footwear is proud to welcome Jason "The Kid" Adams to the team. Skateboard Legend & long time friend, The Kid, stopped by the office last week to say what's up and left Deklined! "Finally!" we said. "It's about time we both now have the opportunity to work together." Jason's unique way of looking at skateboarding fits seamlessly with Dekline's unique approach to design. Be on the look out for The Kid's highly anticipated Riders Choice shoes releasing Holiday 2007 & Spring 2008.
Complimenting the rest of the team, Patrick Melcher, Mike York, Shiloh Greathouse, Matt Ball, Gareth Stehr, and Zarosh, the addition of Jason builds onto Dekline's spirit of originality.
This guy looked at Grif after he barfed. But it was all psychosomatic
AND...
Based on some comments that Kevin looked like an Arabian guy in a metal band, I remembered that me and the team thinks he looks like these guys: David Blaine, Adam Goldberg, and Judd Nelson. (or Borat!)
Ed uses tour as a time to get tough, sharpen his man skills. He seemed to be in some sort of tough guy contest with Grif and they were always ribbing each other to get gnarly in some way...
Anyway, It's not like this police brutality!
This incident took place on International Go Skateboarding Day in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It is unfortunate but will bring significant awareness to the rights of skateboards and the police brutality that is generally accepted.

I suggest sending a message in the lines of:
Hot Springs Mayor, City Council and Cheif of Police,
The agreessive and negligent actions of your city peacekeepers on June 21st, International Go Skateboarding Day towards teenage participants was appalling and irresponsible. Skateboarding is positive activity that keeps kids active and healthy and has been awarded by the United States Congress a Certificate of Recognition for the positive benefits that skateboarding brings to todays youth . It is not a crime in any sense as robbery, drug abuse, rape, murder, kidnapping, extortion, gang activity and should not be treated as one. It is unbelievable that your police officers find that riding a skateboard in offensible enough to have a 200+ pound man brutally choke and wrestle teenage kids to the ground, physically harm them and mentally humuliate them. What kind of example does this set precedence in educating inpressionable youth. Your city should embrace the youth and positive benefits of skateboarding that are attributed to it.
I hope you take immediate action to apologize and rectify the attitude and policy handling such matters. I support legal action that the parents of the kids involved and that they take their full legal rights in prosecution of involved police and city employees as well as the leadership of those persons.
With the utmost sincerity and disgust,
Your Name

They recognized him, and then he brought them out to meet me. They said they had signed up for the army and were now being shipped out to Iraq. Grif asked them for an inappropriate one... This is what Billy had to say about it.

Our little JLay is all grows up. He's got a shoe coming out and a house in the burbs. Maybe he gets down on life sometimes but he always comes back up. Atta boy Johnny....

Billy ponders his future contest wins as Ed learns how to drive safely and listen intently to the thoughts of his team. He heard Billy think about this.
Ethan Fowler - is in Portland, OR right now. He's been traveling around lately with RVCA. His next destination is Colorado with the RVCA team.
Gareth Stehr - recently got hit by a car in LA and is still recovering from that. He will be helping out Foundations art department for the time being. Send all get well soon cards to Tum Yeto attn Gareth 2001 Commercial St. San Diego, CA 92113
Corey Duffel - has been busy as always. Just coming off a Split Colorado tour he is now working on some stuff for Thrasher Magazine. Which I'm sure won't disapoint. And theres a Duffel and friends project in the works. Can't stop him...
Don Nguyen - can be found just about anywhere nowadays. Seems to be constantly traveling. From Colorado with Split to a solo Oklahoma trip he has been on the move. Still can be found in LA though on occasion. Check Shads site for Nuge's birthday extravaganza photos.
Mike Rusczyk - still living up north is Mr. Rusczyk. Between working on websites and skating Mike's time is spread pretty thin. Did anybody see the huge no comply spread?
Abdias Rivera - Foundations newest rider has been spending a lot of time with the Circa team lately. Staying at Tony Taves house on the regular has Abdias working harder then ever. Filming and shooting photos non stop. Look for upcoming Thrasher goods for proof.
Tommy Gurrola - Tommy is the quiet guy out of the group. Laying low is his style. He can be found in the desert or skating with Sean Peterson in LA. Working on numorous projects with Skateboarder and The Skateboard Mag.
Angel Ramirez - will not leave Colorado. He loves it. Angel has been there for a couple months now since being out in California for the Foundation premiere. Has been caught leaving for small periods of time with Volcom or Vans. Now he is Filming heavily for Coreys video due out by the end of the year. And also applying for a house in Colorado with friends.
Sierra Fellers - coming straight off a trip out to Woodward, PA for skate camp with the kids last week. Sierra like Corey is working closely with Thrasher on stuff. Now Sierra will be filming for Foundation and Circa projects.
Thanks to Chipotle for feeding us all.

I guess we wernt supposed to direct 2,000 kids to this park after Chula Vista for a product toss. The city was waiting for us and closely following were the police. RAD.

With the constant signings, tedious demos schedules, loading up the van, sleeping on the road, and general dregs of tour life, a little spice must come and before you know it, you're gearing up for hockey. Life takes you to strange places...

Chris and Neil check out some kids ride. I hope he came up on a board...
Heres a example of the game we played when giving away free stuff "what size do you think these wheels are?" "how many studs are on this belt"? First person with the correct answer wins. Pretty clever huh? or not...
Gareth showed up! He was recently hit by a car. Read all about it in the new Automatic Magazine
Thinking about it now...I wish i wouldve been clever enough to throw product in the palm trees and had races to the top for it. Or is that a bad idea parents?
Sunglasses. So hot right now...that's all i got for this one.
thanks to everyone that made it out
wrapping it up at Memorial Skatepark...
Thanks for the support Vitamin water.
"GSD! GSD! GSD!" I think I am going to have nightmares about that chant. Imagine 2,000 kids all yelling that as loud as they can. That of course is short for Go Skateboarding Day. Which took place today! June 21st 2007! As you all probably know by now today was our big San Diego Skatepark tour. The plan was go to Chula Vista Skatepark at noon then head to Memorial Skatepark at 4pm. Tons and tons of kids showed up as you can tell by the pictures. It mostly was just a free for all skate jam with 2,000 plus kids. With random product giveaways and such given out by all our Sponsors. Billy Marks won the Sun Diego best trick contest taking home a sweet $1,000. He landed about 10 solid tricks down the double set. Including tricks such as full cab flip, switch bigspin heelflip, switch 360 flip, half cab heelflip, etc etc etc! Congratulations Billy!
After the best trick contest we gave out the rest of the product for that stop and started gathering are things for the drive to Memorial Skatepark. With about 10 minutes of driving ahead of us it was a nice time to rest up from all the skating that was going on. But before I knew it we were at Memorial! With kids waiting for both Tum Yeto vans to show up. We ended up putting on 2 different best tricks contests for the locals. Which was a really fun thing to do. Following that we threw out a bunch of tees, belts, hats, and stickers to the crowd and left.
I hope everyone had as much fun as I did on Go Skateboarding Day. And as always I plan on going bigger and better next year. Thanks to Aaron at Chula Vista Skatepark and John at Memorial Skatepark for letting us spread the word of Tum Yeto and Go Skateboarding Day!
PS. thanks to all the Sponsors as well as Staff at each park. We couldn't have done it without you. Sun Diego, CCS, Chipotle, Overload, Vitaman Water, Theisnuts, Blanket A Human, Monster Energy Drink, Fuel TV, Built To Shred, IASC.
Come see riders Corey Duffel, Billy Marks, Shiloh Greathouse, Gareth Stehr, etc etc etc!!! Free food, free drinks, free product! See everyone around 12pm at Chula Vista Skatepark!
And i found some photos covering the event. Courtesy of Active and Circa footwear. Check out more photos here.
There is 2 other Foundation riders in the mix. Can you figure out who?
Josh gets epic while Ed lights up and arts out. Everybody got in on the action from Diego pissing around to Johnny trying to shoot the sun. Sometimes the piss stops are the best part of the day...
While on a recent trip to the Northwest I came across one of the best skateparks ever in Battleground, WA. Its a new park about 20 minutes outside of Portland, OR. The locals didn't rip but my friend did . And I ran into a Gareth fan. Check out a couple pictures of the park and be jealous.

He built a bomb and lit it in the van!!!!
Luckily, he threw it out before it exploded.
This is the bomb before he fills it with gun-powder from cut open fireworks.
And in unrelated news, recent heavy storms have filled the Bondi Skatepark in Australia with sand...
Even Diego was feeling Big ol' Texas. Next years' tour... Your Feelings, I Care.
Josh had so much energy after dinner that he almost focussed poor Kevin. Then the next thing you know, Grant is putting Josh in a toadstool.
Johnny went Bruce Banner in the 'worlds most poorly designed skatepark'
It's in some suburb of Austin Texas, I forget the name...
It was our last demo of the tour, so we had a team dinner at some random Mexican restaurant, (and here's another angle) then drove around super-soaking people from the van. At the signing before the demo (while Johnny was still calm) this kid had Josh sign his Toy Machine inspired Tattoo.
Now that's a loyal pawn. Thank you, Toy Machine minion for the support.
Posted June 14th, 2007 by Too bad he doesn't have green skin like the Hulk
And so Diego went double fisted with the super-soakers and started doing damage. Nothing inappropriate like Griffin in Nashville, although that is not as inappropriate as this racist dude...

Kids with posters...
Diego fans bring meat cleavers to please the master Butcher...
We signed posters after skating on ramps in a parking lot until a storm dumped its rain on us, ending the demo. I did a random inspection of a kids wallet and lo and behold, found a Garth Brooks trading card wrapped in plastic!!!

The sound effects make this even better then the orginal video I think.
What a brutal batch of YouTube clips of the day. Sorry guys I really dont hate babys.
Don is also featured in this months Automatic Magazine. But its not a interview. Its him talking shit on things. Makes you want to go buy that free copy huh... Looks like he's riding the new Foundation fiberlam technology. Fancy!
On another note...check out Jason Adam's website
Gareth talks about all sorts of things in this interview. Ranging from getting hit by a car to finding a new girl to marry. Pick up a copy at your newstand today! This is a photo they didn't use in the interview.
I know i know i know not very original but still gets me every time. Hope that kid skateboards and sends in a sponsor me video.
Crazy cats are funny to watch for 24 seconds. What can I say.
As he sang Karaoke versions of Honky-Tonk Women, Brown-Eyed Girl, and Tumbling Dice by the Rolling Stones.
The whole team got up on stage and started getting crazy... Josh even got up onto the bar and worked his moves for the crowd. Billy was in disbelief when he saw this go down from the outside.

The CMA festival was in town, and country music fans were out drinking beers.
Poor Nick Trapasso was getting freaked by some middle aged married women. And they never stopped, even when he tried to leave. The bouncer made him dance with them...

It got a revamp the past week or so. Mixing some things up. Don't forget about the link page to find out where to go after you look at all our sweet Tum Yeto websites.
I hope Nuge's dog is hyped on the layout choices we made.
Went off! I don't mean to brag, but we nailed it.
This Fireman brought his son to the demo, and even skated himself back in 1986!!!
Here is a kid from the last demo since I didn't shoot any digi-shots.
There was a mom with her teenage son, she was grabbing the large black dildo that some kids brought for Ed to autograph.

Kids lined up in front of RQ skateshop in wait of their master, the Bloodsucking company, Toy Machine.
Super Pawns bring gifts to their Overlords, in this case a mini Transistor Sect.
Josh Harmony revisits his hometown, and his young (and showing!!) wife Jenna...
This loyal minion shows his appreciation by adorning his face with all things Toy.
Before the demo we bought Super Soakers and used them to intimidate Austin.
This Kid ruled. J-Lay marked his chest as a infantryman for Toy Machine.
We got a carved piece of wax in Monster form that Kevin licked, and Johnny thought was disgusting...
Later at the demo, Johnny scored this hipper while trying face high ally-oop frontside airs.
Posted June 10th, 2007 by Finally I get a hotel with wireless internet!!!
Don came by to go over some new graphics of his. Raided the warehouse while he was here. Left with a nice sized box. Did anybody see Nuge's 9 frames per second in the latest Transworld magazine? Geez...take it easy.
He drove down from Long Beach the other day to stock up on some new new products. Sign some boards for his new sponsor CCS Mailorder to give out. And overall just to say hello. I'm pretty sure he came down for this alone... Thanks to Sierra you guys get a break from the YouTube clips of the day.
Scary! Dennis Miller is above me too. This guy was in Iraq and got shot, Purple Heart and all. He even had money with Saddam Hussein printed on it!
Today was our demo at 3rd Lair in Minneapolis, it went very well. The guys there are cool, and the crowd was supportive. Nick T gouged his back on a flat bar and it took him out. Austin Stephens was killing it and did the demo-ending kickflip over the gap. Johnny practiced his one foots.
We picked up Diego the Butcher today too!
Posted June 6th, 2007 by The Tempster has been here
On our drive to Minneapolis we stopped at a lake in hopes of swimming. But a local senior couple told us that the Fecal Matter in the lake was too high. Basically the lake was filled with poop. So Josh, Grant, and Rob tried to go fishing, while Billy teed up some golf balls and hit them into the water.
We were talking about Galagher the other day. The next thing you know...
Billy was whacking shaken unopened beer cans just for the explosion.
After our demo at South Skate roller rink in Des Moines, Iowa, we went into the back room to watch the last period of the Stanley cup playoffs game with the Ducks of Anaheim against the Ottawa Senators. Billy, Ed, and Grant, are the only ones interested really. But then we realized that the roller rink may have hockey equipment... They did! The dudes there are so rad, they let us set up a full game. And they gave us free Lik-m-aid Fun Dips. After the game, Billy got into the goalie gear and let us take shots at him...

In a bummer twist of events, Dallas Rockvam, TWS coverboy this month and HB park regular, was in Des Moines Iowa while we were there. He skated the demo with us, which ended when he came off a sketchy quarterpipe trick weird and broke his ankle. He currently sits in a hospital somewhere in Iowa getting surgery.
Get well soon Dallas!!!!!!!!
That was 1988. We just left Kevin's hometown of Kansas City, and I asked Kevin's mother to e-mail me some old photos of Kevs. She busted this one out right away! We are in Des Moines, Iowa right now... Demo tomorrow at SubSect shop...
Posted June 4th, 2007 by Come to the demo you bung-tasters
The demo was EPIC!!!! The whole team slaughtered it. I can't explain how rad it was. I didn't shoot photos 'cause I was skating, but you can see it in our tour video later this year.
All I know is that this kid was amped.
You could do any trick, as long as it involves a grab.
Johnny's tricks were so high off flat that it looked like he had a ramp. Billy busted out kickflip roast beef/mute combos... Epic.

Billy plays SKATE with Johnny...
All skaters who live in or around Kansas City Missouri/Kansas are REQUIRED to come to both our signing at 5:30 at Escapist skateshop. And our Demo at Penn Valley skatepark at 7:00.
